The DiDoDance Company is a Contemporary Dance Company for young dancers founded in 2017 by choreographer Giusy Quattrone.
The Company was born in Rome in the multi-ethnic School “Di Donato”, a crossroads of peoples and cultures where otherness is welcomed and made unique.
DiDoDance it is a laboratory of contemporary dance, a space for experimentation and a meeting of different languages.
Above all it is an educational-artistic project for young people, which aims to develop their technical and expressive skills together with relational and communicative ones.

Teachers

Giusy Quattrone, Choreographer / Artistic Director

Giusy Quattrone is the Choreographer and Artistic Director of DiDoDance Company. She graduated in Education, Choreography and Contemporary Dance technique at the National Academy of Dance in Rome. For more than 10 years she has been working in Dance and Pedagogy for children, young people and adults in dance studios, schools and theatres. In 2017 she founded the DiDoDance Company. She is committed to international exchange between companies of young dancers. She currently lives and works in Berlin at various Dance Institutions and collaborates with Sasha Waltz and Co’ KinderTanz Company.

Maria Elena Curzi / Co-Choreographer

Since September 2022 Maria Elena Curzi is the co-choreographer of DiDoDance Company.
Dancer, performer and choreographer both in Italy and abroad, Maria Elena focused on choreographic experimentation and in-depth study of somatic practices and training methods. MA Choreography – Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma Co-founder in 2011 of Luogocomune Danza and in 2017 of SiR – Sharing in Roma. In 2019 she has a scholarship from the Lerici Foundation to support her choreographic research in Sweden, in connection with DOCH Uniarts and Ballettakademien. Since 2019 she is part of Compagnia Gruppo E-Motion.

In its research path, the Company hosts and has hosted teachers who expand the technical and expressive language of young dancers.
Among the various artistic collaborations: Mariagrazia Marrazzo, graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Danza Roma and teacher at the Liceo coreutico in Mantua; Michela Tartaglia, dancer, choreographer teacher at Italian dance high schools: Eleonora Galante, dancer, choreographer, graduated from the National Academy of Dance Rome; Marco Ubaldi, dancer, choreographer expert in Contact Improvisation; Monia Antonucci, dancer choreographer graduated and assistant at the National Academy of Dance Rome; Gianluca Bondi, regisseur, art therapist and psychotherapist, artistic director of Sinestesia Teatro, Roma.
